About Martin
Martin Lewis Hirst is a Barrister who practices in the fields of construction, engineering, energy, procurement and general commercial law and as an Arbitrator.
He is a member of Lincoln’s Inn, London and is licensed by the Bar Council to undertake public access work so that clients may instruct him directly.
He was also a solicitor and worked in private practice for an international law firm, DLA Piper LLP, and in house for an international contractor, Lend Lease Project Management and Construction.
Experience
His background as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor enables him to draw on a wealth of professional experience gained in the construction industry.
He provides clients with specialist legal advice, drafting and representation in respect of all types of dispute resolution, including court proceedings, adjudication, arbitration, mediation and other means of alternative dispute resolution.
He also advises on the procurement process for construction projects. He provides clients with drafting and other support throughout every stage of the process.
